Marketing expertise shouldn't be a luxury.

Every company deserves access to the best strategists alive, the context of its own institutional knowledge, and the hands to ship. Duet exists to make all three standard equipment.

I've spent my whole career inside the problem Duet solves.

At the first startup I founded, I watched something that never stopped bothering me: every time a great marketer left, or an agency engagement ended, or a company changed hands, the knowledge walked out the door. Positioning, playbooks, hard-won judgment about what works. Gone. Rebuilt from scratch by the next person, at full price.

At Gainsight, I got to see what world-class marketing actually costs, and how few companies can afford it. The best operators I know are booked, expensive, and capacity-constrained. Most companies will never get an hour with them, let alone a strategy built by them.

Then I sat in the CMO chair several more times, and lived the trap from the inside. Every CEO I worked with faced the same three broken options: build a big expensive team, duct-tape a stack of disconnected tools, or rent expertise from agencies and consultants whose knowledge leaves when the invoice ends.

AI was supposed to fix this. It didn't. It turned intelligence into a commodity, made drafts cheap and left everything that actually matters, the context, the judgment, and the last mile of execution, exactly as scarce as before. Teams got smaller. Expectations didn't. And the marketers left standing are being asked to do the impossible with a chatbot and a prayer.

Duet is what I wished existed in every one of those seats. A Marketing Brain that holds your company's knowledge permanently and continuously learns, so nothing walks out the door again. The judgment of the world's best operators, available as Digital Twins to companies that could never hire them. And real, vetted humans who take the work across the finish line, because outcomes are the only metric that matters.

We named it Duet because that's the whole thesis: the future isn't AI replacing people. It's humans and AI, each doing what they're best at, in harmony.

We're early, and we're building this with our first customers and founding experts. If you've ever felt any part of this problem, from either side of it, this is exactly the right moment to build it with us.
